Magnetic Wooden Knife Holder

Alabama Sawyer’s knife holders are crafted with industrial-strength magnets designed for use with traditional knife blades made from magnetic metals. Some stainless steel alloys contain lower amounts of magnetic material and may not adhere securely through the wood.

Very heavy knives may also be less secure. The magnet strength is intentionally balanced to ensure knives hold safely while still being easy to remove. While Alabama Sawyer stands behind the quality of its knife holders, compatibility across all knife brands and styles cannot be guaranteed. For best results, it is recommended to use predominantly steel-bladed knives weighing around 1 pound.

The magnetic strip on the back side of each knife holder is inlaid across the top portion of the wooden slab, just beneath the wall hooks. This placement should be considered when positioning knives and other magnetic kitchen tools.

Due to the natural characteristics of solid, urban wood, each piece will display unique variations in color and grain. Subtle differences between individual products, website images, or samples are to be expected. Naturally occurring knots and fine cracks are inherent to the material and do not impact structural integrity. These features are embraced as part of the wood’s origin and character, and with proper care, will age beautifully over time.

If items are in stock, they typically ship within 1–3 days from Alabama Sawyer. If an item is out of stock, or for custom and bulk orders, please contact us for current lead times and pricing.

Returns and Exchanges are valid for 10 days from the date your order is delivered.

Return or Exchange shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

To be eligible for a return or exchange:
Items must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging. All returns must be received in resellable condition. Please pack items carefully to prevent damage in transit.

Returns that arrive damaged, altered, or showing signs of wear may not qualify for a full refund and may be subject to repair charges and a minimum 10% restocking fee.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection. If approved, refunds will be issued to the original method of payment within 3–5 business days.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Exchange items will be shipped once the return has been received and approved.

How fast do orders ship?

We currently ship within the continental United States only.

Which carrier will deliver my order?

Orders are shipped via USPS, UPS, or FedEx depending on the size, value, fragility, and fulfillment location of the item.

How much does shipping cost?

We offer flat-rate shipping based on your order subtotal, with free shipping on orders over $175. Oversized, furniture, or specialty items may incur additional shipping charges.

Do you offer returns?

Most items may be returned within 10 days of delivery in unused, undamaged condition. If the item is marked "final sale", then it may not be returned.

An $11 flat return fee applies to standard returns.

When eligible for returns, oversized items will require additional return shipping fees.

How are refunds issued?

Most approved returns are issued as store credit due to the handmade and small-batch nature of many products.

However, we will do our best to give you a refund when possible, depending on the individual maker's policy.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

What items are final sale?

Made-to-order, custom, and items marked “final sale” are final sale.
