Sertodo's Copper Stock Pot is an essential kitchen tool that offers functionality and style. Copper is an excellent heat conductor, meaning it heats up quickly and distributes heat evenly across the pot. This makes it ideal for cooking stews, soups, and other dishes requiring long cooking times and heat distribution.
The shiny, reddish-orange hue of copper adds a touch of sophistication to any kitchen, and the classic design of a stock pot makes it a timeless addition to your cookware collection. Stock pots are incredibly durable and long-lasting so that you can enjoy them for years.
When shopping for a stock pot, look for pots with a heavy base and a thick layer of copper. This will ensure that your pot heats up evenly and retains heat for a long time. You may also want to consider the size of the pot and the type of handles it has.
- Heavy gauge (2mm) copper walls
- Hot tinned interior
- Patented handles reduce weight, stay cool while cooking, and ergonomic design for a comfortable grasp
- 10 and 14-Quart capacity models
Manufacturing & Materials
Manufacturing & Materials
All Sertodo items are made in the USA or in Mexico.
About Made in Mexico: Santa Clara del Cobre, Michoacán, Mexico. This historic copper‑working village in southwestern Mexico is home to dozens of master artisans. The copper scrap is melted and rolled into sheets there, then hammered, shaped, engraved, and finished entirely by hand. This site preserves techniques rooted in the region’s pre‑Hispanic tradition and continues a thousand‑year legacy of artisanal craftsmanship.
About Made in the USA: Sertodo maintains a craft workshop studio in East Austin, where owner Jonathan Beall collaborates with artisans to design new pieces, refine ergonomics (like patented handle styles), and oversee quality before shipping worldwide.
In both locations, every Sertodo piece is made from heavy‐gauge, 100% recycled pure copper, hand-hammered for strength, beauty, and sustainability. The result is heirloom-caliber cookware, barware, and serveware produced through a true artisan cooperative model.

Care
Care
Wash and immediately dry your copper items after use to prevent spotting! When not dried immediately, spotting can occur due to the trace amounts of chemicals in your tap water that can cause a reaction with the copper. Some people don't mind this spotting; they will actually let it build up on the cup over time into a matte patina finish that many folks find appealing. If you prefer the original bright shine from when you first got your Sertodo Copper hand hammered products, don't worry! You can easily return them to that original condition with a quick polish.
