Founded in 2010 by Larry Kauffman, Amish Toy Box began as a small family hobby and grew into a full-time mission to provide timeless wooden toys rooted in integrity, simplicity, and lasting craftsmanship. Raised in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania—home to Amish Country—Larry developed a deep respect for the Amish values of honesty, quality workmanship, and simple living.

Now based in Southeast Ohio, AmishToyBox is operated with the same family-first principles. With six children of their own, the Kauffman family believes in toys that encourage imagination, outdoor play, creativity, and meaningful family connection.
