VESSEL is based in Portland, Oregon, founded by Kelsey Koens. The studio specializes in hand-thrown ceramic tableware designed for both home and hospitality settings. VESSEL embraces the ethos of wheel-to-table—the belief that serving local, farm-fresh foods on hand-thrown pottery fosters a more holistic and meaningful dining experience. In an increasingly fast-paced world, people are seeking slow, intentional moments. Replacing mass-produced, imitation handmade tableware with authentic ceramics not only elevates the dining experience but also supports the local economy. It's a win-win.

 VESSEL operates its studio and kiln entirely on solar power and maintains a near-zero waste policy by recycling all clay and water used in production. Additionally, the studio prioritizes eco-friendly practices by using recyclable or biodegradable packaging materials and sourcing all clay, kiln, and shipping supplies from local Portland providers.
