Mother of Pearl Bowl

This ethereal piece is made on the the potter's wheel in white stoneware clay. The inside of the bowl is glazed with three different shades of white in a marbling pattern. The result is a subtle mix of matte and shine effect in shades of white and ecru. The exterior is hand brushed with matte white glaze.

Shown as a vessel for Ikebana with flowers, also great as a display bowl or serving bowl.
