The Petite Mug is the perfect size for a double espresso, cortado, small cappuccino or a traditional cup of tea. This special matte moss green glaze is well suited to any season. The color is reminiscent of a faded army green jacket, Spanish moss hanging from a tree, silvery sage leaves, or a dusty fresh green olive in Tuscany.

The smooth handle is comfortable to hold. The lip is gently angled for a comfortable lip feel without dribbling. There is an indentation under the handle that provides a little extra knuckle room but also is wonderful if you like to hug your mug or are a fidgeter.

Each order includes one Petite Mug.

Manufacturing & Materials

Gravesco makes a conscious effort to purchase as many materials as possible from independently owned, small family businesses.

The stoneware clay used is regionally made either in Lexington, Kentucky or Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Glaze materials are almost exclusively ordered from a local pottery supply house to minimize the need for shipping.

All glazes are mixed in-house using their own recipes, and never use lead. These details contribute to the a higher finished product quality and longevity.

Gravesco's nine electric kilns operate on 208 three phase industrial power which leads to more efficient firing without fossil fuels.
