This piece is hand thrown on the potters wheel then hand altered. The handles were added to accentuate the curves of the bowl. It is made of white stoneware clay then high fired. It was first glazed in matte white then a layer of glossy white glaze was poured in the center, which results in a subtle marbling effect. It makes a great center piece, a fruit bowl or a whimsical serving bowl.
