Summer Solace Tallow

Summer Solace breathes new life into the ancient practice of using locally sourced, regenerative, and pasture-raised animal fats for skincare and beauty regimes.

The brand was founded in 2014 by Megan Bre Camp. Megan previously worked as a holistic nutrition chef specializing in Ancestral diets and understood the power of high quality food and ingredients. She noticed people around her suffering from skin conditions such as eczema and knew she could provide a solution.

Summer Solace was born - a company that focuses on skincare through sustainable and local resources. Each ingredient matters and Summer Solace sources it's ingredients from local, organic, regenerative farms in California.

Every product is meticulously crafted by hand. At its core, Summer Solace's process involves rendering fat from pasture-raised cattle at Stemple Creek Ranch. This rich tallow is then blended with authentic extra-virgin olive oil, courtesy of the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation of Seka Hills, forming the backbone of their soaps, balms, and candles.

We love Summer Solace's ethos and commitment to regenerative agriculture and quality.

A symphony of botanical essential oils, absolutes, and select elements like Sonoma-grown calendula flowers enhance our offerings. We are especially proud of our tallow, derived from the suet of grass-fed cattle. This buttery essence is then harmonized with organic Calendula flowers from Sonoma, and complemented with the extra-virgin olive oil from Seka Hills.

These tallow balms, enriched with vital nutrients, provide deep moisturization and relief from skin irritations. Each artisanal soap, candle, and natural perfume is meticulously handcrafted in Oakland, California.
