Founded in 2010 by California native Taylor Engen, Glassed Over Candles is a pioneer in upcycling wine bottles into something new and sustainable.
Glassed Over Candles has developed their craft, hand-cutting wine bottles and smoothing over the sharp edge to transform these bottles into a wide variety of products including candles, drinking glasses, jugs, and vases. Their aim is to continue creating a product and company that strives for a higher level of craftsmanship and care.
Based in Torrance, California, Glassed Over Candles has worked hard to expand over the past thirteen years. Their products can now be found in local California wineries and breweries as well as nation-wide!
Each item is one-hundred percent handmade and with a high-level of attention to detail. Their candles are made from soy wax and include a cork lid for a wine-inspired touch. Available in four nature-inspired scents, we love how clean they smell and burn.
